Judoom

Judoom, an application offered by its developer for the great price of free, will help writers with their work. You see, this is a word processor – one that features a tabbed ribbon interface, one that can be used to view and edit text, and one that can also be used to create text content. It provides support for Word documents, OpenOffice documents, RTF documents, and plain text files.

Support for the following Windows editions is provided: Windows XP with Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. As is usually the case with a standard installation procedure, a setup wizard will guide you through the installation process. You won’t have any problems getting Judoom up and running on your PC.

As mentioned above, Judoom has a tabbed ribbon interface. This means that if you open multiple documents, a tab for each document will be displayed on the interface. And it also means that buttons for all the features and functions Judoom has to offer are displayed on a ribbon on the interface. It must be mentioned here that with a simple mouse click you can hide the ribbon out of sight.

Meant to be used by writers, Judoom puts the following features at your disposal: view and edit documents (Word, OpenOffice, RTF, TXT documents); create new text documents; set a custom page color; play with the text formatting; word count; print preview and print; find and replace; insert hyperlink, image, table; and more.
